My granny was born and lived in Cumbria for much of her life.  When I was little it was always really exciting to go and visit her.  I’ve always liked the look of little stone cottages and farmhouse nestled on the fells, dry stone walls, and cold windswept beaches.  When I first moved to Cumbria in 2013, I went a bit crazy for drawing and printing little houses, and I still enjoy spying ‘nice to print’ houses that are just asking to be sketched.
